Are you going to buy jewelry adorned with beautiful pearls.
Take care before you buy so that you buy the original one only.
Here’s a traditional test—just rub the pearl gently across your teeth. A real pearl will feel gritty, but an artificial pearl will feel smooth and slippery. Remember, cultured pearls are real pearls, so they,
too, will feel gritty.
This test works only on glass beads made to look like real pearls.
Rubbed against the teeth, modern “shell pearl” imitations feel just like real ones.

A cultured pearl is not an artificial or synthetic pearl. It is still produced by a pearl oyster or mollusk and by normal processes of pearl growth. Thanks for sharing, but any other way to test other than the teeth test? feels funny to be at the shop/ jewelry booth, then grab the pearls and rub on the teeth la.lolz. Though it sounds like a very good test! and really old one too.

Real pearl has greater radiance then the artificial one. And other thing artificial one looses it shining within days.
