Blue Garnets

You are mistaken. A blue color change garnet was discovered in Madagascar several years ago ( 1990 I believe.) These particular stones were verified at the AGTA gemlab booth at the recent Tucson gemshow. They are not spinels or sapphires. The chrophore that produces the unique and rare color is vanadium.

I would be happy to provide more information for you and I welcome your own lab's analysis and cetification that they are indeed rare blue color change garnets.
